Smokehead’s ‘rum rebel’ sees the rare use of ex-rum barrels for a final maturation period to impart subtle wood notes of tropical and caramelised fruit to the billowing peat-smoke flavour of this undisclosed Islay single malt.

Immense smoke and fiery peat, followed by soothing citrus, tropical fruits and brought out by the Caribbean rum casks.
PALATE
A fearlessly rich and peaty punch, thick oils and bracing sea spray, tempered with dried spices, banana and dark wood.
